Marla Tremblay is the Executive Director of MineConnect, Ontario’s mining supply and services association. She leads a growing network of innovators and industrial suppliers who play a vital role in building and sustaining Canada’s critical minerals value chains.

Marla is known for her ability to bridge policy, partnerships, and economic development. She works closely with government, Indigenous leaders, mine operators, and international delegations to ensure the mining supply and services sector is positioned as a strategic partner in the shift to clean technologies, electrification, and industrial resilience.

Under her leadership, MineConnect has expanded its reach across Ontario, grown its membership, and launched new initiatives focused on workforce development, procurement access, and global trade opportunities. Marla has also been a vocal advocate for streamlining permitting, supporting domestic infrastructure, and ensuring that Ontario suppliers are included in critical minerals conversations at all levels. A former public servant and the founder of Markey Consulting, Marla brings both entrepreneurial drive and public policy fluency to her work. She is a frequent moderator, speaker, and facilitator at sector events and advisory tables.

She believes that a resilient critical minerals strategy must include a strong, visible, and well-supported supply and services sector.
