Sarah Goldfeder is a government relations and strategic policy professional with experience in both government and private sectors. She joined General Motors Canada in March 2021, and in June 2023 stepped into the leadership role for the public policy team in Canada.

Over the last two decades, Sarah has worked on issues pertaining to the North American trilateral relationship. She has been engaged with the U.S. and Canadian governments to map out a strategic vision for North America as a critical component of foreign and economic policy for the region.

Before joining General Motors, Sarah was a principal at Earnscliffe Strategies, one of the oldest consulting firms in Ottawa. From 2012-2015, she was special assistant to two U.S. Ambassadors to Canada. Prior to her arrival in Ottawa, Sarah served in Mexico and Southeast Asia as a U.S. diplomat.

Sarah has made Ottawa her home, but still considers herself primarily from the American West, having studied at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, and Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.
