Prof. Victoire de Margerie is Executive Chairman/
Reference Shareholder of Rondol Industrie, a deep technology startup that develops extrusion machinery for high tech applications.
She joined the board of Ivanhoe Electric in June 2022 shortly before the company got listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Ivanhoe Electric combines advanced mineral exploration technologies, renewable energy storage solutions and electric metals projects predominantly located in the United States.
Prof. de Margerie has spent 40 years in the Materials Industry in Canada, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States, first as an Executive and since 2003 also as a Board Director (now Ivanhoe Electric, Boliden and Verkor, previously Arkema, Eurazeo, Babcock, Italcementi, Morgan Ceramics, Outokumpu & Norsk Hydro).
As to non for profit assignments, she founded World Materials Forum in 2014, was elected an Academician at the National Academy of Technologies of France in 2019 and joined the board of Paris School of Mines in 2021.
She initially graduated from HEC Paris and Sciences Po Paris and holds a PhD in Management from Université de Paris 2.
